Our new Pet Cancellation and Curtailment option makes that possible and can be added to Silver, Gold or Platinum policies.

There is no cover for cancellation caused by a change in FCDO/government advice, other than as a result of fire, earthquake, storm, flood, riot or civil unrest.
Our policies will not provide any cover if you travel to a destination where the FCDO is advising against all, or all but essential travel. Please check the latest advice before you travel. www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice

Your pet cat or dog is a member of your family, so if they became ill and needed emergency life-saving treatment just as you were about to go on holiday, you may want to cancel the trip and stay with them.
Our new Pet Cancellation and Curtailment option makes that possible.
This option extends the cancellation and curtailment section of your policy to provide cover for unrecoverable holiday costs, such as transport, accommodation, and foreign car hire, if your pet dog or cat needs emergency life-saving treatment.
Cancellation cover is provided if you are forced to cancel your trip due to your cat or dog needing emergency life-saving treatment in the seven days before your trip starts.
Curtailment cover is provided if you are forced to return home early because your cat or dog needs emergency life-saving treatment whilst you are away.
Cover is up to the amount stated under the main cancellation and curtailment section of your policy.
