BA takes the stress out of air travel
10/12/2007
Travellers can help make their trip as stress-free as possible by following a series of simple tips, it has been claimed.
British Airways (BA) has issued the tips ahead of the Christmas season, when passenger numbers make British airports very busy.
Chief among the carrier's recommendations are that travellers arrive at the airport with plenty of time to spare.
Also advisable, said BA, is taking advantage of modern technology to save yourself time, in particular using the airline's website at ba.com to check in online.
While on the holiday it is a good idea to maintain fluid levels and eat well, while tackling low-level stress with simple exercises, according to BA.
BA's tips come as it this week confirmed that its passenger traffic was up 2.4 per cent during November compared with the same month last year.
The increase was fuelled chiefly by extra business and first-class traffic.
