Backpackers offered tips for working their way around the world

A round-the-world travel shop has launched an Earn As You Go travel itinerary for backpackers who need to earn their keep whilst trotting the globe.
Round the World Experts' travel itinerary features destinations where backpackers will be able to work to fund the next leg of their trip.
Starting in London the trip includes Chicago, Vancouver, Auckland, Brisbane, Singapore, Johannesburg and ends in London. Air fares cost from £1,499 per person.
In the States, Round the World Experts suggest backpackers pick up work as au pairs or summer camp councilors, both of which are popular with young British travellers.
In Vancouver work is available during the winter and summer months and Round the World Experts says it can help backpackers find a job either on the mountain or at a luxury five-star resort close to Vancouver before they set off from the UK.
Auckland, the gateway to New Zealand, has plenty of opportunities for work from stable hands to fitness instructors to builders or hospitality workers according to the travel shop, which suggests backpackers check out its online Backpackers Board for jobs before leaving home or as soon as they arrive.
Three-day working holiday packages can be booked in Brisbane. However, to work in construction or the hospitality industry in Australia, backpackers must prove that they have sufficient training and must hold acknowledged certificates in their chosen field. Courses can be booked in advance from the UK.
Teaching English is a good way for backpackers to earn extra income in Singapore to support their travel through Asia; no prior teaching experience is necessary and backpackers can study online or through weekend TEFL courses.
