Brazil is ideal for all
01/02/2008
Brazil has something to offer all ages, from relaxing holidays to more active ones, according to an expert.
Whilst Rio de Janeiro is the "visitor postcard" for the country, the destination also offers sport, beaches and relaxing spa experiences, says the Brazilian Embassy.
Tom Falcao, general manager of the tourist office of the Brazilian Embassy in London, said that "Brazil offers all kinds of tourism".
He said the country is famous for playing sports like basketball and football on the beach and said that people can play "all sorts of sports on all sorts of famous beaches".
Mr Falcao went on to say that TAP Air Portugal is the best airline to use as they have 54 weekly flights to Brazil and fly to a variety of different areas in the country.
He also said that people can buy an air pass outside of the country and then take any internal flights that people want to.
British people do not need a visa to travel to Brazil if their stay is 90 days or less.
