Good news! Canaries and Maldives join safe travel list
29/10/2020
If you’ve been dreaming of escaping to the sun this winter, now you can!
Last week the government announced that the Canary Islands and the Maldives had been added to the safe list of countries we can travel to.
The Canary Islands and Maldives are now exempt from the ban on international travel and quarantining when you return to the UK.
This is good news, because not only will tour operators make more flights and holidays available, it also means that you will be able to get travel insurance much more easily.
We are really pleased that policies from Insurewithease.com can now cover the Canaries and the Maldives to enable those that want to get some winter sun, the opportunity to do so with proper travel insurance protection in place.
Please do monitor the government advice, because if your destination comes off the safe list before you depart cover would no longer be valid. In those circumstances we are happy to move your single trip insurance to a new destination or dates.
Where else could you go this winter?
Madeira and Greece are on the safe list at the moment and can offer some lovely winter warmth.
