Disneyland is a top Easter destination since Eurostar's move

Disneyland is more popular with families for an Easter break since the opening of the Eurostar at St Pancras, but typical hot spots are also proving a favourite, according to an expert.
The Canary Islands are popular as they are sunny, only a four hour flight away and great value, says a spokesperson from Thomas Cook.
"Turkey, Cyprus and the Algarve are also popular choices. Going further afield – Egypt, South Africa and Thailand are definite hot spots," said the spokesperson.
Both city breaks and longer holidays are popular at Easter, with families choosing short breaks tending to opt for Paris, Rome, Barcelona and Venice.
Those wanting to combine a city break with sun are better off choosing Monte Carlo, Lisbon, Madrid and Seville, said the expert.
More families are going on longer haul holidays to get guaranteed sun, taking an early summer holiday.
The cost of the average Easter holiday increased last year to £2 376 per booking an increase on £1 533 the previous year.
