Which? Select their ‘Best Buy' travel insurance policies according to stringent criteria, the travel insurance policies which make the final list are the ones that meet the criteria at the best price.

Their criteria requires a travel insurance policy to provide at least £5 million of medical expenses cover for worldwide trips, £1,500 cover for baggage and personal belongings and £3,000 for cancellation or curtailment.

Insurewithease.com's Gold travel insurance policy exceeds their requirements for medical cover, providing up to £10 million per person and meets their criteria for baggage and cancellation.

This year Which? have also take into account travel insurance cover for what they have called ‘unexpected events' including missed departure, travel delay, scheduled airline and holiday supplier failure, terrorism cover and volcanic ash.
