Helping British Nationals in Japan
The FCO are working hard to ascertain the whereabouts and safety of British Nationals in Japan. British nationals who are currently in Japan should contact the Foreign Office if they need assistance, or to report that they are safe. Friends and family in the UK can call the FCO helpline for information. They should also contact the FCO to let them know if they know their loved ones to be safe.
The FCO are urging British Nationals to observe any advice they are being given by the Japanese authorities on the ground, including the 20km exclusion zone around the Fukushima nuclear plant.
