No Brexit Worries for 2020 Holidays

05/02/2020

The UK has now left the EU and entered a transition period which will last at least the end of December 2020.

During this transition period all the rules regarding passports and travel will remain unchanged and you can continue to travel as normal.

For instance, you don’t need to worry about having 6 months left on your passport, but you do still have to make sure that your passport is valid for the full duration of your trip.

The European Health Insurance Card will now be valid at least until the end of 2020.

You do not need to get an International Driver’s Permit to drive in the EU, but this may change after the end of the year.
